CIPO Drainage Improvement Project Phases I & II

Product variety was a key benefit for Garney Construction on the CIPO (Canal Importation Ponds & Outfall) Drainage Improvement Project. In addition to the 102” RCP main trunk storm sewer a multitude of lateral storm lines, culvert crossings, and special fabrications were needed for this vast “new” drainage & pond system. A precast RCB (8’ x 4’) with water-tight rubber gasket joints was employed for a drainage siphon beneath a irrigation canal. Precast Concepts also manufactured concrete flared end sections in “adobe” (tan) color to meet the aesthetic requirements of the project.
